My Bank Fight Is On Tv Tonight....

I have been fighting Barclays and Legal & General for almost 2yrs over a "Key Person" business Insurance policy that didn't pay out when hubby became unable to work in our business. I posted to this site last year when I was desperately trying to keep everything going while the Financial Ombudsman was reviewing our case, hubby was suffering severe depression and I was desperate for the F/O to reach their desision. LONG STORY SHORT.......I am still waiting for the final descision.............and have lost everything during the prosess. Despite my desperate pleas for speed the business went into liquidation in Nov 07, followed by the humiliation of the car repossesion and debts that spiralled as I had no income, I even had to sell our jewellery (inc wedding rings) just to keep going. During this time hubby got increasingly worse and eventually had spinal reconstructive surgery to keep him upright. Our home was due to be repossesed 30/04/08 but this has been stopped by the BBC1 (Wales) X-Ray programme who are featuring our story 7.30pm Wed 14/05/08 (wales).
I would be really interested to hear the views of anyone who sees the programme as I suffer quite bad depression and this nightmare has dragged on for so long I sometimes doubt my own judgement of things

crikey it sounds like you have really been through the mill. I hope things improve for you and the TV programme gets you some help.

goodness, I'm listening to the programme now through iplayer - you poor thing! It made me feel really sad I really hope that the TV appearance prompts a resolution to your situation. your judgement is definitely fine!
