Have gone bankrupt - but now getting all sorts of stuff through the post!

I went bankrupt on Friday, had my OR telephone interivew yesterday (which I have to admit I was more nervous of the OR than the judge!), however today I've recieved through the post two items :
One from the Bankruptcy Protection Fund Ltd - saying 'they can help' if I'm a homeowner (which I'm not).
The second is from a company called 'Turnaround Finance' saying they can help to get my bankruptcy cancelled and how to stop it being advertised etc etc.
For both companies I get the feeling that it only applies to you if you own a property or have significant assets - however - I do have to say what they've got is quite scaremongery (sp!).
This may be a stupid question, but why is it that if you have assets - that the debts then become payable in full - yet if you dont after you've finished paying an income order for 3 years that's it?
I'm a bit concerned that these companeis have got hold of my address to be honest.

looks like the real purpose of the IS website (public) listing, the London gazette and the public notice in the local rag is to alert the attention of these guys to your plight then!0

Ignore it, chuck it in the bin. I got stuff from both those companies after Id gone bankrupt, one of them even turned up on my doorstep.
They trawl the Insolvency Service website and try and get you to annul your bankruptcy- I think by securing loans on to a property.
Just ignore them, they go away after a week or so.0 -
Thanks for your replies - has put my mind at rest - though will consider using them as cat litter :rotfl:Bankrupt : 9 May 2008

They'll help home owners take out a big re-mortgage/secured loan to pay off all debts (and their own fees).
They do get some takers, but tend to be creditor petitions when (usually) HMRC/Council have made the person bankrupt rather then debtor petitions.
But after going through all the pain and heartache to decide to go BR, why would anyone change their mind after the deed was done
