I might be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that all shops have to sell baby milk at the same price....

Supposedly to encourage mothers to breastfeed

Anyone, please feel free to correct me, my baby is due next week and I too would be interested to know if you can buy cheap baby milk

i dont think what you have said Mum of Boys is true

as far as i know its all shops must sell the babys first milk free from promotions.

it cant be reduced or discounted in any way eg: BOGOF, 1/3 off etc

Baby milk is mostly the same price everywhere as the makers are not allowed to do offers or discount on first milks. But I ran out once and went to a small private chemist and It was £2 more than anywhere else. Was very annoyed that they could overcharge by this amount and told them so!

Umm, not sure if you read my post properly but that is what I said? (albeit using different wording)

Not sure what I said is not true

You are all right, first milk cannot be discounted or offered! I've just swapped my 10 week old (well at about 2 weeks ago) from SMA white to the Farleys equivalent and he's been more than fine.
