H is changing cars soon and basically we need something cheaper to run. He currently has a 06 Ibiza but not a lot of mileage done on it, so no point!
I know the following fall under the £35 band, is there a list of the cars?
Peugeot 107
Citroen c1, c2, c3
Megane Diesel
Clio Diesel
Suzuki Alto
206 diesel
toyota aygo
yaris diesel
Needs to be a 5 door car and some boot lol
thanks

I have a Renault Megane 1.5d. Road tax is £35.00, boot space is good. I had a Clio 1.5d, it was also £35 a year road tax.0

Hi I have a Suzuki Alto, boot space is not too bad for a small car. Road tax only £35 for the year.0

Is it any better having a diesel compared to petrol still? Diesel is more exp now.
Never owned a diesel car. H would be doing short runs though, longest would be to portrush and back once a year :rotfl:Norn Iron club member - 2650 -
I have a Peugeot 206 Deisel. Very economical. Great wee car to drive and only £35 road tax also cheap to insure.Member #7 SKI-ers Club

Toyota Yaris D4D is really frugal and a bit of a flying machine - my GF has one and it's great fun to drive. £35 tax and low insurance too. Boot space is initially smal but you can slide the back seats forward or fold them down to increase the room.Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

Maybe better getting a diesel car? Are they much more expensive to run than petrol?
