I wanna Buy a Mass Load of Books!!!

Hi there,

I want to buy a mass load of books, at cheap prices!

I know Amazon are a top spot for buying really cheap books, but does anyone know of any other websites that have a big range at very cheap prices?!

Or Amazon discount codes that i could use to push down their prices further?!

Thanks,

Hannah

http://www.find-book.co.uk/ might help find the best prices - I use the dvd and cd versions and they're OK, haven't really used this one but it works on the same principle. RE: Amazon discounts, unless you're eligible for the student discount you'd have to earn vouchers somehow (numerous survey sites offer them). Be sure to make the most of what you do spend by getting points or cashback; I know nectar offer points for spend at Amazon, there may be others.

Sometimes you can buy books cheaper from Play - depending whether they have it in the first place....
  • I know this is obvious, but I went to my local charity shops and I was surprised at the selection available. Worth a try :)

have you had a look at www.greenmetropolis second hand books but the price, including postage is usually 3.75 or thereabouts, you can also sell them on there too.

    Must they be new books?

As home educators, we have (literally) hundreds of books in our home and I have boughtmost of them through ebay. Look for books under the wholesale / job lots section and then search on distance from your home. For a large amount of books the postage is far too much and so you can get a huge amount of books for quite a small amount as sellers would rather get a small amount than just give them to charity.

    We can often pick up 50 - 100 books for £5 - £15.

Again if you aren't looking for new books have you thought about contacting your local library service and asking them? My service have ongoing book sales in the library but also have big sales a few times a year at church halls etc but we did have more than we could get rid of so a lot got skipped. It is worth a try - you can usually get them for about 50p-£1 a book but if you really do need loads then they might cut you a deal.

BookkooB is a great comparison site for books:

    http://www.bookkoob.co.uk/

I also use Play, Amazon, Pickabook & Ebay.

    Don't forget Quidco!
