Hey there
You say you drive 5-7 miles to the train station......how about cycling instead. Get fit and save money! I recently started cycling to work, about 7 miles, and this has saved me approx £9 a week as I don't have to buy a weekly bus pass anymore! Maybe not a lot to some people but the real bonus is that I feel so much fitter! You said someone 'gave' you a car so I'm sure that you can blag a free bike as well....!!!
Good luck!

Cycling isnt a bad idea. But i can list a few reasons not to!
1. I wear a suit to work, not the best cycling gear.
2. Its comming to be winter, when i step off the train, its dark.
3. The roads back are country roads and not lit!
4. I now get a lift with my girlfriend every morning, in exchange for a tank of petrol a month!
Seems fair to me.0 -
Not wanting to nit pick but I wear a suit to work too.....i just wear other gear when I am cycling!
I cycle in the dark too - not a problem!!
But a tank of petrol a month to be driven sounds good - but you could still save that price in the Summer.....!!
