recently been injured at work. is it possible to negotiate with company directly or is it necessary to go through solicitor?
solicitor's say i stand to gain 2000 - 2800
what do they stand to make? would they normaly claim their fee from the company i was working for?

In my experience, I've known legal costs to be £6,000 on a £1,000 payout.
They'll be paid by your employer's insurers...if the claim is settled.0 -

If so won't they help you to claim?
