Scottish mortgage

Options
Hello there,
Am seriously looking at properties and we are first time buyers with no property to sell so we are in the best position that a buyer could be.
Can anyone tell me if it will be possible to get a mortgage as we had a trust deed paid off over 3 years that has been finished with over 4 months ago now. So we are now wondering if we will be able to get a mortgage with this against us?
Will this effect our chances of getting a mortgage in Scotland where we have lived for over 6 years now?
We do have a property in mind but are not sure where to go from now.
If anyone can help with this dilemma i would be very grateful.
Thanks:rolleyes:

I had a similar case last week. It really depends on your current circumstances. My clients had a trust deed and it had finished 3 years ago. Managed to get Alliance & Leicester to accept them.

Your best bet is to contact a Whole of Market IFA/Mortgage Adviser.
