Has anyone tried lately. I really want a few of these for Father's day but cannot get it to download the program.
I have emailed Tesco with no reply
Time is running out
Worked for me - wonder if the programme will send as an email attachment then all you would have to do is install it on your PC.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -
Hi I ordered 3 the other day and wanted to just warn you of a couple of things before you spend ages designing them.....
Firstly the cost is actually £6.49 for the cheapest book with the plain linen cover (as it includes £1.50 postage) You need to use the code LINENCOVER08 to get the discount
Secondly if you chose a hard photo cover it adds another £2.99, plus the £1.50 delivery charge even after the discount code PHOTOCOVER08. So the total cost is actually £9.48 not the £4.99 you are led to believe.
They are still really good value though and a lot cheaper than other sites so worth doing whilst the offer is on.
One last thing even though it says the code can only be used once I used PHOTOCOVER08 twice and it gave me the discount both times.0 -

I just uploaded a 20 page album and it only took about four minutes. The original files add up to over 50mb and I only have an average broadband connection. How can that be?
Can someone explain how the software works?
I'm guessing that the Tesco software changes the file size by reducing the resolution or size (pixel count) of your image to suit the printers they use for the books (most of these books are printed using inkjet printers which do not need nearly as much information as is contained in your original camera files). It would help them not to bloat their servers and there is less chance of your upload being interrupted.
A good explanation of file resizing can be found in The IMAGING RESOURCE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY NEWSLETTER Volume 10, Number 11 at:

Shame this isn't Mac compatible software but https://www.photobox.co.uk is currently doing a 2 for 1 offer for Father's Day (they use web based software). Only useful for those who want multiple copies. Offer code: DADDYCOOL End date: midnight 12th June '080 -
Thats'; really strange Internet Explorer would not let me down load it. i tried in Mozilla and it worked first time. Oh well off to create my album0

WingsIt all works out good in the end.If it's not good, it's not the end!0 -
The book that I ordered with a photocover came much sooner than those with linen cover, if that helps you Wings?
I've now received one of each type and they are both great value. I added extra pages to the last one (that I am still waiting for) as after making them for other people I decided I wanted one of my own to keep! It is just 25p to add 2 extra pages.0
