Nintendo Wii for £169.99- Go quick!

What's the deal?
Popular online computer games retailer Shopto.net is offering Nintendo Wii consoles (inc Wii Sports) for £169.99 with free next day delivery. Whilst this is only £10 cheaper than the retail price, the limited availability of these consoles makes it a good deal.
How to get one.
Just click the link below and add one to your basket on the shopto.net website. If you've never shopped there before you'll have to set up an account.
If you want one it's better to go sooner rather than later, as these could sell out quickly. There's a limit of one per customer to curb the enthusiam of the buy-for-eBay brigade.

Jeez, what a hassle....
Took about 2 hours to sign up and get the "account activation e-mail"...
Finally got it, register my payment card and find that I need to activate "3D Security" on my Mastercard, get diverted to a seperate site (for Visa?!?!) and have to select my country and then my bank... my bank is not listed so apparently I have to contact my card supplier to get this "3D security" activated...
Then I find that my first two orders have to be sent to my cardholders address, so I can't get it delivered to my parents address who i'm ordering it for....
After two and a half hours (admittedly not helped by my parents dial-up internet) I gave up.
Well done Shop-to, you've lost my money!0 -
wilko alsop do wii console plus wii sports for £169.99 standard priceEverything in life is a paradox. The more you want approval, the more you become a person that other people don't want to approve of, the less you care about whether you get approval, the more you get.:A0

Your parents want a Wii but they haven't even got broadband... Hmmm??0 -
Signed up to say thx for this. Didn't know i wanted a Wii till i happened apon this on the newsletter! Site offers great service, extremly quick and free delivery, and the Wii is ace fun! Would recommend the Wii Play for £29 as well, as its got 9 games and a controller, makes tennis more fun!
MORPH3US: Had a totally different experince, the email took longer than i would of liked to come, but it was only 5 minutes for me! The Mastercard activatation seems to be everywhere now, not really Shop-to's fault, you'll notice it appears for all sorts of other purchases!"So long and thanks for all the fish!"

You don't need broadband to play the Wii! There are loads of things to do on the Wii and the Internet connection adds little to the real benefits IMO.Your parents want a Wii but they haven't even got broadband... Hmmm??You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

Yes you are correct, but I fail to see how the two are related or cause a problem for eachother?
My mum wants internet to check MSE once per week, hardly worth splashing out on broadband (which would also mean they have to lose their low user discount on BT taking their bill to £12.50 per month instear if £20 PER QUARTER!!! )
And the Wii is for my little sister who still lives at home if that matters.0
