Do you have any game recipies now the season is apon us. Partridge now and pheasent and duck in october.
I usually just take the breasts off and cook them in the slow cooker.I'm looking for other ideas.

  • I like to quick fry the breast of pigeon with a bit of butter, salt and pepper, and some cider or white wine vinegar then serve with some mash and fresh greens or in a green leafy salad. I should imagine it wouldn't be far different with the other game birds although duck I treat slightly differently and usually stir fry with other veg and serve with noodles.

    pheasant is good and particulaly when cooked with shallots in white wine and alittle tarragon. yummmmmmmm . I love the game season, venison, game pies,and the king of kings, GROUSE braised with butter,yumm yumm yummm
