I don't think i got an extra £60 in my september pay...but i'm wondering if it's because i've just started with a new employer, from Sept 1st???.
Would i need to approach my old employer to get this rebate??
very confused here!

No ..... it's d/w via the PAYE system and which is no longer any responsibility of your old employer. And it may not be a 'rebate' ...... most people will notice it as a reduction in the amount of tax being deducted in Sept pay. So you need to check if that's the case?
If not - check your P45 details have been correctly applied and that you're not on a Month 1 code, or similar. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
