How Long For Decision After Dip Been Agreed

just to check if anyone knows how long the process takes when full mortgage application has been submitted.
I got a DIP (through Abbey) on:28/04 & have since submitted full application, how long does this normally take to hear back.
I have gone through a broker & have had all my documents & payslips etc back but just awaiting the outcome.
Will Abbey contact my broker or would they contact myself to confirm decision?
many thanks

Has the survey been booked/done?
You can ask the estate agent if they have booked it inI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. no as far as I am aware the broker has sent the full application last week but not heard anything from broker or Abbey regarding survey or anything else, I have had all my documentation back & have done credit check with experian which shows searches from Abbey.
Do you think I should instruct solicitor?

Give the agent a call to find out - they are the first to know if the survey has been booked.
