I want some wooden blinds - need custom fit

Hi can anyone recommend a company that sells/makes custom sized wooden blinds. I would love to go and buy from Ikea or such but their ones don't fit our windows. I have heard pretty negative things about Hillarys Blinds. Any experience of ordering or buying from any online company would be gratefully received!

That's something I thought we might do too (alter the ones from IKEA) we bought a 100cm width blind from there to try but it was way too small, all our window widths are 114cm so I thought we might get the 120cm and trim a bit off. Did they look alright after you did that? I'm worried they'll split if we take a saw to them!

Try these, they were brilliant and next day delivery.
you can also get cashback though cashbackkings, (tracked fine and paid on time!) take a look.
I needed a really small blind and was surprised that it was a standard size on their site.

Thanks MP, they have come out cheapest so far, need custom made though, however £42.33 is better than all the others I have tried. Will keep looking...

Ive recently used www.interiordecordirect.co.uk after reading about them on this forum. We ordered made to measure wooden blinds for the whole house and I would recommend them for quality, value and service. They have 50% off custom made at the moment so may be worth a look.

i went and had a look at this site it also has a 50% off sale on some blinds .
I might think about getting some from here for when i get my new windows done and just cut them to length.
    Anyone else used them before?
How good and reliable are they?

    Ikea:
Just make sure the slats are neatly lined up.
Wrap lots of masking tape round them to make sure they stay in position.
Use a saw with small teeth and cut slowly.
    Rub over with sandpaper after.

You can take any excess slats off the bottom if they are too long.

    Works fine.
