A&L Special Rate Loan

The typical advertised rate for an A&L personal (unsecured) loan for amounts between £7500 and £15000 is 7.7% (http://www.alliance-leicester.co.uk/loans/index.asp?page=home&ct=primarymenu).
I've received a flyer with which you can get a special rate of 7.4% rather than 7.7% for the same loan. You need to quote reference 'MI7980' or 'PICALL'. You can also look up the special rate on specialrateloan.co.uk.
On a £15k loan repayable over 60 months, that's a saving of £119.40 in interest.
