On DMP but still getting charged interest

Alright

im with payplan doing a DMP and a lot of the creditors have been passed to debt agencies

i found out last month natwest are charging interest but payplan have wrote to them and asked them to stop, however i have one account with barclaycard and two with barclays CDCS (theyre in house collection agency) and wondered if anyone has been charged by these in the past whilst on DMP

the main concern is myy egg card as thats the biggest but i can check my statements online and no interest is going on

anyone had any experience in the past with above creditors

thanks in advance

ps i have not got account details for banks and i cant log in etc online to check, does anyone get regular statements from these as i may just ring them up and get them to send me statements

lovely jubbly, just spoke to barclays and they were really nice and helpful and said as im with payplan who they see as a reputable non charging company they wont add interest :D

only slight worry is barclaycard as i got sick of being passed around to different asian people who couldnt understand my brummie accent lol

i've been with Payplan since march 06

Barclaycard have now stopped adding interest, the only one who still does is HFC or is it MBNA I'll get back to you on that.

Nearer the end of your plan payplan will contact your creditors to find out what interest has been added and get it taken off or somethign like that

If you are having no luck on the phone with Barclaycard put it in writing and tell them what Barclays said see if you can push their hands a bit!

well i managed to get through to barclays quite a few months back and didnt seem they were added interest but just not sure

to be honest im just relieved that the barclays (around 3k initially) and egg (11k initially) were a big chunk of my 20k debt and most of the others are store cards etc which have all gone to agenices so i dont pay interest on them lol
