MOrning all. Can't help on Florida, can you save enough to go between now and the departure date to replace your rainy day savings?

Spent £5 including bus fare yesterday (as budgeted) - will be £3.70 today for a swim and, if I can get one, a lettuce! Four shops before I could get one on Saturday - Sainsburys, local shop, co-op and Netto had none on Sunday. WIll pop over to OS board to see if this is a local or national problem.

Cheers Peb, no afraid not, not likely to be able to save much at all come July, when hubby back to usual job ( he's on a secondment at the moment, so money good & got tax rebate, hence savings )
It's just a dream, we'll perhaps see if he gets reaccepted for another secondment then make a decision:confused:
Ooops better run, got to be at work in 12 mins:eek:

Good morning kizzy, and everyone :hello: :hello: :hello:

Not working today :T :T so I will be 'working' on a couple of projects at home.

Sorted the 'chocolate' problem yesterday. We may go shopping this afternoon, as the cupboards are a bit bare (well they are usually 'bare' but they have become even more so  ) but this will be out of our weekly shop budget.

I 'might' be tempted to buy a few cans of beer - I have not had a real drink for over a month and this hot weather really makes me fancy a cold beer - coke and squash just aren't the same. Will update later if I give in to the temptation.

Have a great day, everyone.

    Hi all!

Peb - I purchased 2 lettuces yesterday, no problem. Think it's a local thing!

I just cashed a £48 postal order and a 20 Euro note (£14.40), and have spent 60p on a diet coke (am gasping!) and gave £1.50 to OH.

    xx

    Aiming for a NSD today...

which I will only manage if I can work out what I want for dinner before my Mother rings on her way home from work... she might buy it for me if I need anything :o

If not it will be as low as I can managed!:D

Was an NSD but we're off to Slimming World tonight. OH might pay that £9.
I will treat us to dinner/takeaway after though - £30 max.

    Catt xx

Update - OH paid for dinner - I paid for SW £9 and I also bought 4 garden chairs, a glass topped garden table, a gazebo for over the top and a BBQ for £80 (Mum will give me £60 of that for putting her new shed up!)

    So my grand total - £29 :j
