Thank you all so much for your comments. I have broken down the sentence and see now how I misunderstood it! Thank heavens!!! First I panicked and last night I guess the tiredness took over and I couldn't see the wood for the trees!
Oh well, the worrying over the last few days has at least resulted in further planning of action, which can't be too bad!
As Clariman says, we can all calm down now. So sorry to have alarmed anyone.
