Posting adverts from home

Hey,
I am very confused - I hope someone can help. On Craigslist I stumbled across a "work at home administrator" job. I applied for it and was sent an e-mail containing info of the job.
After watching a professional video it turned out that I was supposed to post adverts on Craigslist and reply to anyone who applies for the position.
What I don't understand is how I am benefiting anyone by doing this? The job I am advertising is exactly the same position that I am doing myself. Thinking about it, it's not really an admin job at all.
Has anyone else ever stumbled across these type of jobs? Should I stick at it or stop posting the adverts? I am still "training" apparantly.

Sounds like a variation on the home mailing scam to me. Whereby you pay to join...you then get others to join who pay you..then they do the same.0

Give it up, it's a scam. It's not work, it's scamming money off people by getting them to pay, only to be told they can earn money by doing the same.0 -
But I haven't paid anything yet.0

The man who has taken me on is called James D. Brausch. He has his own website and if you Google him there is a lot of information on him.0

So how are you gonna make money from this??0 -
Craigslist is great for getting traffic (visitors) to a website but I still unsure how this helps you unless you have some sort of unique ID when you post these videos?0

Well I post the advert, wait for a reply, I then reply to that e-mail offering them training. I then enter the e-mail address onto a database. I have to do 113 of these.0

Well I like James thinking...nice bit of viral then as he could have thousands of videos on line make a fortune and then decide sorry no paid work for you!0 -
