personally I wouldn't send them anything. We have had the heavies round ours for the previous tenants who dide a bunk, and they just seem to accept it!! On the odd occasion I have opened the post and one of their letters has been caught up0 with mine, so I have phoned the company in question, told them I opened the letter in error and that they have long gone.

We are on the electoral register so I assume they can see who is at this address

You don't have to send them proof of anything. They have no legal right to enter your house and if they persist in sending letters after been told they don't live there you can report them for harassment.

who would you report them to? there is one company that keeps sending letters to us and we've told them he disappeared last year on mulitple occasions, always to expensive 0870 numbers (and if i could point them in the direction of chasing him, i certainly would!).

Just write 'Return to Sender - not known at this address' on the envelope and send them back to them, do not bother calling them.
