WANTED:- Cheapest way to Buy Batteries (discount codes etc)

Hi..

I have started my Christmas shopping early this year. With every voucher (eg- empire stores). I have brought the kids Xmas presents. Saved a fortune.

But I have counted the amount of Batteries i require, well you cant give the kids the presents without the batteries.

So far i need

33 x AA
4 x AAA
16 x C
7 x D
2 x 9V

Thats 62 Batteries

So I thought about using discount codes from the catalogue's but the recent ones i have don't work when buying batteries

So now i'm on a battery hunt.

Any help would be appreciated

Just a thought, but what about the supermarkets? there are threads for ASDA and Tesco evouchers on here, so use an evoucher, get your batteries for a cheaper price, and get em delivered.

If you shop at tesco (and obviously use one of the vouchers all the lovely people here share ) then some AA batteries are on bogof sadly not AAA but they do cheap saver ones which might work out ok?

thanx for your suggestions, I am going to look at the asda & tescos threads and decided from there.

Rechargables would be better, but alot more expensive. althou i know it would save in the long run. but because i have so many to buy, disposables it has to be.

poundland, £strecher... if it is for other people, they can buy their own expensive one after that, if it is for you same thing as they will last untill the kids finish playing. as nobody remove the baterries between plays, thay will die anyway and you will have to replace them by january. we use eitheir very cheap ones or rechargeable. try

I generally buy rechargeable but make sure they are the most powerful ones-well worth the extra. Weak rechargeable batteries are a waste of time and dont last as long as ordinary cheapy ones. Ive "invested in a couple of packs every now and then, as yes, they are expensive. Get mine off ebay from the seller advertising these.
