Removing superglue from clothing

Anyone got any tips on removing superglue frm clothing, we've tried white spirits and nail varnish but its still there, the glues gone hard now

  • Try neat acetone. Also some pound shops do a super glue pack which includes a glue release tube (that smells remarkably like acetone).

    you can buy a superglue release agent, I have some in my toolbox at all time after gluing my mouth shut. confused-smiley-013.gif
    I know screwfix sell it so I would assume homebase and b n q type places do as well

    that was the superglue which is on the clothing, ill have a look for that, thanks

    I use a lot of mitre-fast which has a spray activator and a pot of superglue, no matter how carefull I am with the superglue the lid always seem to stick shut, so I put the lid in my mouth bite and twist the lid off, on this occasion the top came off glue everywhere.
    Next week I will tell you of my adventures with gas powered nail guns, I think Tim Taylor in home improvement was based on me.
    Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'
