They are sending a qualified proffessional around your house not an estate agent!
Unless you have damp and other issues the valuer can see then making it smell nice will not make any odds.
They are not looking at just market value, they need ti ensure that if you are repo'd they will get the lenders money back!

Valuers are human?
Bright flowers, smell of fresh coffee.
Talk about how difficult their job is at the moment/ how you always wanted to be a valuer/ how their football team is playing.....
Low cut top, plenty of mascara......
They will see right through you.......Its totally different having a "vaulation" to an estate agent doing a "market appraisal" or a potential buyer coming round.
