County Court Judgement

Hi everyone

I decided to look up my credit report last week, as i expected it doesnt read well  and my credit score is 541 which is rated at very poor. I was quite shocked to see a CCJ against my report for £400ish, i didnt even know i had a CCJ  .

How do I go about paying off this CCJ? And will it be removed from my file ?

Im no expert on the matter, but this is what I know on the subject.

Normally stays on your account for 5 years, If you pay it off within 5 years you can have it marked as satisfied.

If you pay it in full within the 1st month of getting the notice you can have it removed from your file.

If you belive that you do not owe the money you can request a claim to have it removed, like wise if you were not notified e.g wrong address etc you can have it removed.
