these are yummylicious:D

i was wanting a yummy treat yesterday and id bought the day before 3 packs for a quid of puff pastry from heron!
well i got one of the packs, rolled it out thin and cut long strips. cut those into two and then put them onto a baking sheet. added a small dollop of apricot jam and folded the remainder pasty over them, omfg
they were absolutely gorgeous:D i drizzled icing over the top and theyve all gone:o
all of usate them though and thought they were just yumm:D
bet it would work with shortcrust pastry too:D
i thought they would be like the ones in sainsburys but theyre so much better

    My mum would just bake 2" squares of puff pastry, split them and fill with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Sprinkled with sieved icing sugar, they always looked very posh served at Sunday tea-time.

    My favourite thing about them is that you have to eat up the whole batch as they don't keep :drool:.

    Can you freeze these? how long do you cook them for?
