Hi,
I'm new to this site and i want to say a big thank you to you all. I've been reading this site for quite a while and it never fails to give me hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
We've got a large mortgage and roughly 15k worth of unsecured debt too. We've been in this situation before but managed to get our selves out and have found our selves right back where we started. The main cause of this was a screw up with Working Tax Credit which we had to pay back and unfortuntely started our downward sprial again.
As i've been reading through this forum you've all given me ideas that could make a difference in our lives. I'm not as orgainsed as some of you and have no idea of my game plan of how we are going to sort our selves out but it's nice to know we're not the only ones.

Hi Snowdrop, why don't you post a Statement of Affairs (SOA) ,there's a link at the top of the page, and see if the clever folk on here can save you a penny or 2 towards getting debt free?
And welcome by the way!I am one of the 63336.'It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep.'

like i said i'm not very organised so will take me a while to sort out, plus i'm a little bit scared about what it'll show me - but hey, got to face up to the truth.

Take all the time you need. It's very friendly on here, and although it's as scary as hell writing it all down and looking at it; once you DO write your debts down it gets easier, honest. It's like a weight has gone off your shoulders.
Give it a whirl, let the great and the good on here help.I am one of the 63336.'It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep.'
