Hi,
I hope i have posted this in the correct thread!
I am currently working and the company i work for generally give the cost of living allowance around November (its back dated). I am leaving the company in August to return to University, so i was wondering if i will be entitled to my cost of living allowance rise to be back dated if i am not there at the time and if so how would i go about doing this??
Thanks

I'd contact the HR (Personnel) dept - may be something in your employment contract about it. When do they back-date to - is the fulll year (Nov to Nov) or part-way through (eg April to April)?0
