Do you buy childcare vouchers from your employer? If not ask them if they will do this for you - you will then pay for the vouchers out of your salary before tax.0 -
Be careful when salary sacrificing. Because you buy these vouchers from your salary you pay less tax and national insurance. Therefore your national insurance stamp is less. Therefore you get less pension etc when you retire from the state.
Also you have to tell the tax credits people etc that you have made these changes. This affects the amount you are entitled to in wtc benefits. So you could end up worse off in the long run. It's something that needs careful consideration before making the choice0
