Walkers Brit Trips - Are the Deals Any Good (NO CODES PLEASE)

Hi

Have seen several threads about getting points, or asking for codes on the Walkers Brit Trips deal, but information about which are the best deals seems hard to come by.

So I would be very greatful if people who had used the codes could idnetify how useful/good value they were (maybe on a scale of 1..10 enjoyable or as a top ten best discounts).

After a few responses I will edit this post to update what seems to be people favorites and/or best value

I recently cashed 20 points for family day out at national trusts brownsea island. good value just had to pay for the ferry. National trust seem the best deal to me most of the other 2 for 1 offers are available from other sources.

What should we expect for free !

I would also say the National Trust days out are the best value deals. We recently cashed in 25 points for a family pass and it would have cost us about £16.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) we are annual members of NT (just renewed as well) so I already get it for free (at the point of usage).

I have avidly collected nearly 130 brit points (have 4 crisp eating (school age) monsters under the stairs so getting through 28 packs a week minimum)

So - can anyone else give me any suggestions as to what I should do with my vouchers

I have used 50 points to book a Haven holiday in July for 8 of us in a Superior Plus caravan with all bed linen for 4 nights. Although it is stated as 50% off, comparison with Haven website was more like 28% cheaper.

Better than nothing I guess.

We used our Brit trips to go to Thorpe Park last Thursday. Every 20 points got us in half price. There were 4 of us so we saved £64 :j Park was empty, got on all the rides with minimal q'ing- lovely day out for the family :T

Hi,

We have booked to stay at the Bunkhouse in Aviemore for 3 nights next month on a 3 for 2 basis saving us £52 at the cost of 35 points! Looks lovely too!

NT free family pass is only available in England and Wales, in Scotland it is 2 for 1, we paid £10 with the Brit Trips voucher for 4 of us to access the grounds of Culzean Castle, family ticket should have been £20 and they put it through as 2 seniors.

OK Thanks - I guess I will just need to look harder at what's good. I just have this underwhelming feeling when I look through - you know like its just old offers you could get anywhere.

Anyone been excited by anything they saw on brittrips - maybe I am just too MSE-cynical

Thanks for starting this mark88man. I have a NT membership aswell and would like to know what else to do with my points! I think by the sounds of it i may be giving the codes to a friend though...

That's exactly how I feel as well - nothing very exciting.
