Hi again,
does anyone know of, or have any figures for living allowances that the OR uses to calculate if I will have any disposable income?

The OR does have some rough guidance figures based on data from the Office of National Statistics.
But they are not allowances, and they are also not made public.
The best bet is for you to post up your rough I&E so that people here can comment on it from their experience.

Is a good place to start.
The figures have recently been updated too.
Edit: waspeze, they've incresed HK!!The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

If you use that guide, please do so with care!
For instance, if your single, best not to put down £39 for mobile/telephone. This is too exact.
This may cause alarm bells to ring for the OR and he may scrutinise your SOA.The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

I think I used that guide when I started .. as queried my H/K being reduced from £200 to £163, when that guide said £190ish and someone.. can't remember who (possibly JCS1?) said they use a different "guide" and £163 was the set amount.
It may well have gone up though .. it should have!!!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
Arhh, maybe the figures haven't gone up then.
Though, as you say, they should have! The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

I think the stats say food has gone up 15% or something in the last year, so there may be a case to increase the £163 by 15% (£187ish) and argue that point? Not sure how far you'd get with it though!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0

Here's the thread where I queried the H/K number .. as you can see on it I was using the HMRC number and JCS1 set me right
