Am hiding in my room as the flat is still really vile (cleaner can't get in at the mo or something) from when my housemate had people over for dinner last weekend:eek: and the flat smells of manky gone off food:eek::eek::mad::mad::mad:. I refuse to clean up his filth these days so there it will sit until he does it or until the cleaner manages to get in the door (could mean Thursday:mad:)
I can't wait to live on my own - just a few more weeks (references pending) until I get my wish and my sanity back.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Ooh nasty.. bet you can't wait to get out of there! When I shared we had one flatmate who'd never wash up - on a few occasions we got together, actually picked her up and carried her through to the kitchen, then ran out and locked her in there and didn't let her out till she'd done her dishes
ps I'm pleased to report that the cheapy Tesco white wine is also fairly decentDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
He actually owns the flat too!!! and is old enough to know better, but he is just a bit of a lazy !!!!!! and doesn't think. I love him to bits but I don't really want to live in skank these days, there is enough to worry about between my job, my finances and everything else without that adding to the stress. I'll escape to OHs later for BBQ number three of the weekend so then I don't have to see it any more.
Great to hear about the wine, I shall give it a try and then probably stock up when I move (a case or two is hardly going to break the bank after all at that price)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

I would have done that too, I get like that at work when my workmate leaves her lunch plates in the sink, I know if they stays there over night again the office will stink so badly, I could never stand my kitchen to be like that!
it is a pain but at least you will out of there soon.
My sunday is being very quiet. got some work to do. ho hum.

LOL - I do that at work too Buffy, we have cleaners that come in each night but still most evenings on my way out I still clear the sink and sideboard and stack it in the dishwasher
