HSBC Life tracker Re-Mortgage went up

Now stands at 0.63 above BoE. The fee too went up to £999 .It was 0.48 above and a fee of £ 599 earlier.

    Nope, the banks need to make profit again for their shareholders to pay good dividends. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Remember they made billions of losses, even though they still made billions of profit over the years. And they might get hammered by the fees they need to pay back if the OFT and the judge decide the amounts back due to customers.

    I can't believe this, I was due to make an application on Thursday and they never phoned me back as promised. Had a set appointment with an advisor and everything :(

    Phew, because I already had my agreement in principle/quotation in the system, I can still get the old deal.

    Moral of the story: if you're even vaguely interested in an HSBC deal, phone up and register that interest with an advisor before the rates changes again!
