Hi all,
I was hoping someone could help me with this. I crashed on wall and the skin of my forehead is bruised. It has healed but there is dark scar that I would like to get rid off or make less prominent. I am doing job interviews and it really looks weird. Haven't seen the GP yet but will be thankful for your advise.

so there is no broken skin etc?
You could cover with foundation for now (I'm guessing you might be a guy so you'll have to do it very carefully)
For long term, I would highly recommend Bio Oil (or something similar). It is rubbed into the scar a few times a day and the scar fades with time. It breaks down scar tissue.
I have used this on a couple of my very old scars and they are hardly visable now.
It's worth a try... but you can only expect to see good results if you follow the instructions every day and be patient! It could take a while for the scar to start fading.
Good luck with the scar (and the interviews!!)

funny how our pasts come back to haunt us....
had a head-on collision at school when I was 10 and 3 stitches in my forehead from when my head met some kid's mouth (clip sadly not available on youtube!)
all has been well until my advancing years have brought along a receding hairline and this inch long line is now visible if I'm not careful- what's bio-oil then?
thanksFor what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -

I don't believe in many creams but bio oil i agree is the bee's knees for long term, it doesn't fade the scar on first, second or third application, it does it over time.Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0

another vote for Bio Oil here - I heard that the rubbing motion promotes healing so really it could be any cream / oil / serum0
