Your local Post Office gets nothing from handling the parcel if it is pre-paid by PayPal postage.

I prefer to buy the postage at my local Post Office. I'd rather the commission on the postage went to our village Postmaster as he provides an excellent service.
Here I go again on my own....

& you still have to queue up to get your certificate of posting/ recorded delivery stamped. Not time saving at all. More likely to help close even more Post Offices. You're right Becles, talk about left hand & right hand not knowing what they're doing.

But not enough so you have learned that if you don't queue up to get your recorded delivery ticket stamped some tw*t will claim the never got the parcel and get their money back from paypal.

If you want to save time at the post office go there when it is quite!

Actually they do get a trivial sum if they check it to see you have put the right postage on before stamping your receipt

    Surprising how often people haven't.......
