bank statement and loans

HI there. We currently got approved for a Tesco loan. They need 3 months bank statement. But our latest 3 months bank statements are with another bank as we are in the middle of purchasing a property. In the application form, our reason for the loan is consolidation.

Can I give an internet copy from Natwest? Should I tell them that the latest ones are with another bank as we are acquiring a mortgage?

What do they look for anyway when they ask for 3 months bank statement? What should I tell them?

When we look for 3 months bank statements we are looking for ability to repay, so look for income on a regular basis and make sure the applicant hasn't bounced any payments or gone over their OD limit.

The last 3 months is because it gives an up to date picture and to avoid "cherry picking" of the months where there is money by the client.

I would suggest you call them and explain, can you get the mortagage company to fax them over to you then fax them on to Tesco?

Some loan companies will accept this provided you have taken the Internet copies to your branch for them to be confirmed as true copies of your accounts.
