There is a bit of a long-winded way of getting around barcodes that won't scan and that's to google "barcode generator". You then put the barcode number in and it will generate the matching barcode for you, which you can then superimpose onto the existing coupon - having saved it in Excel first, you can then simply copy and paste it into Excel, make it the size you want and drag it on top of the existing barcode.

As I say, a bit long-winded, but will help anyone nervous about using one that won't scan etc.

Actually have just done it and it's taken me about 2 mins (But I already had it saved in Excel)
I have tried this on both the Eve, and InStyle coupons, I will try them later today, and report back.

The coupon net thing, if you choose more then one coupon, it prints it on one sheet of paper, thats good :T

fuzzgun 19. If they work can u post them on here please for all us computer biffs that cant figure it out. cheers
  • I have always found that if the barcode is fuzzy, if you remove the black cartridge from your printer it prints clearer from mixing the colors.
Hope this helps as it will save time generating barcodes.

Could you advise how to do this for the InStyle one?
