hi,
A notice in my local tesco has gone up today to say no more moc unless you buy the items as of the 07/07/08 and this is the 1st time anything has been said about them, so not sure if it is going to do the rounds to all T. hope not.

Went into Tesco Clowne tonight who are normally very coupon happy only to be told that they will not be accepting anymore MOC's unless you buy (gasp) the product from the 7th.
Tesco's Chesterfield and Worksop were already anti-coupon when I tried to spend money with them a few weeks ago.0 -

That's the individual store already mentioned on www.paidtoshop.co.uk. Here's hoping it's just that store and that you can find another somewhere in your area (or an Asda or Waitrose?) that take some coupons.
There's certainly an opportunity in that area for rival stores to get some business if they allow a few coupons without product purchase! I know what I would do if I were the Store Manager of a rival Supermarket in Clowne...;)PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Tuborg are offering £1 off a draught pint in all O'Neills pubs or £1 off any bottle pack from a host of retailers including supermarkets. To get your vouchers, visit www.tuborgmusic.com/aftershow and click on the voucher section.
Thanks :T just printed the ones that can be redeemed in supermarkets x 2. Another £2 to go on my coupon pile :rotfl:0 -

Try Tesco in Mansfield Chesterfield Road, we are a happy couponing store. I work there and use coupons. We take all manufacturer coupons as long as tesco stock the product. All coupons must be in date and only one of each coupon per transaction. As long as they don't state that you must use them at specific store ie asda, sainsbury etc. I always accept them at my checkout.

Yes nikki702, mine printed out big on 1 page.
I then made it smaller (by clicking on the pull down bit and click on ?a number?% until you get 2 on a page) and print out.
I gave 1 of the smaller 1s to cashier yesterday and he typed in the barcode number but i offered him the bigger barcode to scan if needed but V.Nice man typed in barcode number and took total off my bill. :T
Keep that 1 till last.
I think i used approx £13 in coupons :j including £5 from NOW paper, £3 Sainsburys coupon. Very Nice man on checkout at Northampton.:T~~~~~~~~~~~~:kisses3: "In Raising Your Children;" :kisses3:"Spend Half As Much Money n Twice As Much Time."0 -

I didn't have much luck with my Marie Claire coupon.........it wouldn't scan and despite the assistant helpfully trying to type the barcode in manually a couple of times, the till still refused to accept it so they wouldn't honour it. So, no free mag for me (at that store, anyway)!0

Hi, - new to this & quite skint at the moment - so my question is:
having printed off my coupons and had them accepted sucessfully (which I did yesterday in Tesco - thanks to the OP & MS-ers ) - can I simply print off the same ones again and use then again (and again!) or will they not scan again ? I'm wondering if the till/computer will pick up from my clubcard that I've already used them?
thanks, Stefano0 -
