Hi,
You would be better off to have a go yourself, as dodgy barcodes seem to come up regularly.
The barcode generator is here:-

http://www.terryburton.co.uk/barcodewriter/generator/
The symbology is EAN-13.
Leave the other parameters as they are and type in the full barcode.
Then the trick is getting it onto the coupon.
I hadn`t got a clue but eventually managed to open the coupon in Publisher.
Copy and paste the barcode onto the coupon (you may have to spin it).
Then reduce the size of the barcode and position till you get it right.
It`s a bit fiddly but with practice it becomes easy.
Trust me if i can do it anyone can.

thanks to carpetbloke but I'm a complete novice - where and when do you type in the barcode - do you download coupon first then what? I know I'm being dim but its only easy if you know how. Any chance you can give a little more detail?

Put the barcode in contents in the barcode generator then click on make barcode.
You must have a coupon you want to work on first.
Then replace the unscannable barcode with the new one you generate.
I use Publisher as I find it easier but it`s what you get used to.

Just to let everyone know the Purina £1.00 coupon, the info side works, but when you come to print off the voucher, the promotion has ended.

thought people might be interested in the response i got from Purina company; i emailed them saying i was unable to print the coupons, and any previous ones they have had on their site also, and this is my response i received this morning;
