One payment on my CC to go

and thats me debt free. I racked up about £7.5k on various CC's about 4 years ago. I stopped using the cards switched to 0% and paid regularly every month, switching to about 6 zero interest cards over the piece. I paid the penultimate payment yesterday and now have a £99 balance to be cleared next month.

only the mortgage to pay now

Congratulations! It's a great feeling. Beware though, I became debt free at the end of last month, and obviously the banks have cottoned on! I've had two credit card applications through the door in the last week, and never got them when I was 7K in debt!!! You'll get no end of junk mail, but I suppose it's a small price to pay! Good luck with the mortgage!!
