I have a CDL with barclays, and have been using another bank for my main current account due to masses of complaints against barcalys. Basically I got a letter in April stating that my first repayment should start as of 6th June. So I thought right ok I can make arrangements to put money in on the 4th - 5th and this would cover it. Well today I got a letter saying that they tried taking payment on 6th of May, no funds and charged me £35 and now charging me interest daily. I have called them and they saying that I have to wait 5 days for a letter to simply advsie me that a complaint has been logged. Who is best to ring, or if I ring back what is best thing to say / threaten them with. I am depositing no money for payments until I see this charge and interest refunded?
Please help
