Thanks for the replies Dolip and Waspeze.
I had a chat with my son and he will let me have his car for that weekend and will lend me his CC when he gets back next week, so i can book my room.:T I'm so nervous already:o but i think it'll be lots of fun.
It will also be my 40th the day after the meet so we can celebrate it together. I had nothing planned anyway:o

Wonderful. I bet that waspeze isn't quite as old as me though:o
I maybe able to offer lifts to anyone in the Notts area, but i will be driving a Subaru with blacked out windows, neons and a very noisy engine. Oh how i wish he had a normal car, but any cars better than no car.

This sounds a good meet....do I have to book a room to stay over though? i'd be coming in betsy she's my motorhome....could I park somewhere instead with her? it cuts down on the cost with having so little spare cashPhilnicandamy's OH and mum to a two year old god help me!:p

Yes there is a free carpark at the pub/premier inn. Are you a def then frosty.
Oh thinks they may be funny about you stopping in the van. There is lay by just over the road. I will e-mail the manager at the three pears and ask for you just to be on the safe side.
