Is There A National Debt Week?

Hi,

Am new to these boards so making my first post. Really enjoying reading everyone's tips and stories though. Hopefully they'll inspire me to start saving...

I had a question and thought this might be the best board to ask it on. Is there such a thing as a Nation Debt Week, in terms of promoting people being responsible and learning to pay off debts, etc.? I've been looking but couldn't find anything, so was wondering if any DFWs could help?

Thanks very much!

March 10th is national debt day .. not sure how much it's "celebrated" though

Nice idea, Ross - unfortunately this great? nation of ours seems to like to like to distance itself from reality by pretending that there is nothing wrong with the 'economy'.
Debtors, like us, tend to be shunned in favour of the might of the Financial Institutions.
