    Overdrawn,

I have followed this thread as it has developed and I now understand your predicament.

I have to admit that I mis-judged you, the comments I made in my first post were a knee-jerk reaction to what I thought was going to be another "I've got the money but why should I pay my creditors" thread. Believe me we've had some corkers on here!

    Anyway, for that I apologise.

I hope you can get things sorted, the people on here are a great source of help, advice and support. They have taught me a lot and I am quick to defend them (obviously too quick!).

My lesson is learned and I will think before I post in future!

    Regards

    Poo

P.S. If you want me to edit my first post I will, but only if you ask me to. I said it and I should live with it.

If the debts are with DCAs they may accept F&F but not all will.

I've followed this thread too and I admit I did read it the way Poo did. However, I now understand. Just wanted to say I respect Poo for coming forward and apologising and leaving her comments on the forum.

Anyway, welcome Redditch. Hope that you continue to post. I'm fairly new too and love the people here. Had loads of support and advice already. Without this lot, I would be a nervous wreck by now. They've unknowingly helped me through some dark times, especially knowing that you are not alone in this and there is non-judgemental support here helps enormously. Good luck on your debt free journey.

Has your husband actually remortgaged, or does he just intend to do so?
Consolidating is a very expensive way of dealing with your debt and there may be cheaper alternatives. Possibly 0% BT cards?
