Hello,
I have a biscuit recipe which requires maple syrup, which I don't have and as it's quite expensive, I don't intend getting!
What could I use as an alternative? Perhaps jam or golden syrup.
I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks!

Golden syrup will work fine. Even honey will work. It just won't have a maple flavour.:beer:0

Definitely golden syrup;) I have a cake recipe from here actually that requires maple syrup and I always use golden instead. Cheaper too, though I do like the flavour of maple syrup.0
