Well as I said I can only quote what I have been told by two sources and in the case of my DVD (which was in fact a recorder) I was granted 50% of the £80 purchase price 2 and a half years after I bought it. However as you are qualified I am sure you know better......
Don't think I will bother to post here anymore as I find being quoted as "Incredibly inaccurate"and "seriously misguided" quite insulting!0 -

OK, but you wouldn't be quoted as such if it wasn't true?!

It's £40 more than Amazon, but I'm just about to buy the Samsung LE19R86 from John Lewis because I think that's worth it for the extra warranty. The Cakes - new release now on Spotify!0

Incorrect. Costco offer a 3 year warranty.
;discussion/906231]Just found out this offer today as I was looking for TV for my brother. John Lewis (online) has this offer of any TV over £100 you get 5 years guarantee + free delivery..
The TV I was looking at was the Panasonic TH42PX8B £649 42" at John Lewis
Hi at empire direct i'm getting the th42px8b for about £567.. its on their site at £629.99 but if you use the voucher code "em4646" and then username "edsave" (already posted i know) you then get it for about £567 and if you then go through quidco you get 2% which then means you are getting a tv which currys are advertising at the moment for £650 for about £556..
but the problem we are having with empire direct is that we cannot order via their site and have finance if we chose the collect option..
I've searched high and low for currys codes that work!!! but can't find any..0
