I have a spare O2 sim card which I have had for a while its not one of the new ones. I dont know how to find out the number, can anyone help so I can take advantage of this offer and perhaps win a fridge to boot.

    Many thanks

phone a landline from it, then do a 1471, or send a txt to another mobile from it
  • I think O2 may have put a stop to this easy free credit, I've had the free credit before but tried recently to text details for the credit but they wont send.
Checked http://www.o2.co.uk/payandgoregistration, Terms & Conditions state that "Your handset must be in credit in order for you to receive and use your free calltime".
Or it could just be my phone acting up???

    :rolleyes2 :naughty:
  • You only get it if your phone isnt already registered and your phone must be in credit in order to be able to get the £2.50 added

This is for o2 Pay As You Go customers. You get the £2.50 as a credit on your phone.

  • I tried this and had no credit on the sim so couldn't so I was stuck.

Check through your phone manual. Sometimes theres a way yo find out your own number through the menus

I've registered new freebie simcard(s), *cough, cough* and got the £2.50 credit without having to pay anything  so I don't know what they mean by 'in credit'.
