Sky+ reconnection can I get it for free?

I dont know whether if this is the right board, if not please move.

Just wanted advice really, we plan to move at the end of the month and wanted to keep Sky+ services without having to pay up £50 engineer fee for reconnection. (new address has a dish already) has anyone been in this situation and got reconnected for free?? Is there such a thing????

Thanks in advance

If the dish has a dual or quad lnd (outputs on the dish and the cabling in for Sky+) just connect your equipment up and it will work.

Then tell sky you have moved address and they should change the address on your account.

The other option is to cancel at your current address if you are out of the initial contract.

Re-signup up at the new address, using partners name preferably and get free installs, free box, quidco etc etc and have a spare box.

Interesting... where are these free boxes and installs? I am not currently a customer.

    Cheers,

In November last year you could get free sky+, installation and free M&S vouchers for signing up as a new customer. I think it has changed since then. Have a look on the referral board (do a search there under sky+ and you should find it)

and here is the sky referral thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=557793&highlight=Sky%2B

Yes, I realised that they had them previously. I wondered if BenL knew of some current deal that I had missed.

    :)
