Summary judgment-Defending against HMRC

HI to all,

I have been served with an application for "summary judgment" against me. It is very hard to find imformation about how to defend this. has anybody got any helpfull info about how to defend such an application.
Briefly i am defending aginst HMRC to allow me a "Time to pay" aggrement for outstanding VAT/PAYE. They are taking a bullisg stance & are not accepting my offers of payments. i was advised that only @ a court hearing would i get any chance of getting a time to pay the arrears.

More detail if required.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I would log on to CAG website and ask in there , they are very good with legal issues .
