When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will/have:
Need to get my office sorted for hols next week so relief manager can actually find stuff:o . We are of to Malta on Tuesday for two weeks on our mse holiday which was totally paid for from quidco/topcashback/greasy palm earnings last year:D and the spending money is from our £2 savings:D
Andan, Klane etc are going to keep the thread going whilst I am away - :A :A :A Thanks Guys :A :A :A
Have a good day everyone, hi to all the regulars:hello: :hello: :hello: and hi to any new posters:wave:
Catch up with you all later:D

Happy Birthday Sophiesmum! Have a great day.
Off to work in a bit so shouldn't spend too much today. DFW actions will be:
-Check Internet Banking- £127 dividend payment has gone in from my work shares which I wasn't expecting so that is a very well received bonus at the moment as I have just changed jobs and won't be getting a wage this month!
-Storecupboard breakfast and dinner- will probably just have a (free) coffee at work for lunch as have had a huge brekky.
-Done Pigsback clicks- ordered a Waterstones voucher for me and Boots voucher for hubby!
Think that's it today, but being at work till 8 will stop me spending much. Have a great day everyone.
