    Hi All,

    I have a result:T :j

    I have received a letter from the Council and they have re-instated the payment plan.

    Thier letter states that my local Councillor also wrote an email on my behalf, so :T to our local Councillor.

    I can now sleep at night ;)

    June 2005 = 48K of Debt:cry:
    Sept 2006 Started dmp = 56k of Debt (inc fees and charges) DFD April 2030:eek:
    May 2008 = <5k of Debt (CCA route -48K, paid off 3K) DFD April 2010
    Nov 2008 Lloyds found CCA for 14K loan:mad: New DFD Jan 2016

    Happy so far tomorrows another day:confused:

    That's great news, and thnxs for updating your thread. Often we never get to see any of these 'happy endings'. Sounds like you've got a decent councillor there.

    Thats good news who ever suggested contacting your local councillor was dead right it's the one thing that really puts the wind up the local council.
    I have heard several times of when councils refuse to take debts back from over pushy and intimidating bailiffs , that once a local councillor gets involved they soon change their tune.
